Cast and Religion Politics should be stopped or not in Karnataka?

ANUJ AWASTHI: Nowadays a Big political game playing by the politician in this country. Both political parties Congress and BJP, are just trying to mislead of the people. According to the election commission Karnataka, legislative assembly election would be held on 12th of may in all 224 constituencies.

after announced the date of the Karnataka election, All political parties started their rallies and campaign in Karnataka’s constituencies. Congress leader and Karnataka’s chief minister Siddaramaiah announced that after winning the election we would give a minority status to the Lingayat community, Siddaramaiah already sent a paper to the central government for passing that particular minority status for the Lingayat community. But Modi government is in the dilemma because if they pass this minority status then it would be beneficiary for the Congress party if they wouldn’t pass it then it would be too beneficiary for the Congress.

BJP also doing politics in the name of cast and religion, because BJP president Amit Shah decided that after winning the election BS Yeddyurappa would be next chief minister of Karnataka. Yeddyurappa comes from the Lingayat community and He is a big face of the Lingayat community that’s why BJP appointed him as a candidate of the chief minister of Karnataka. BS Yeddyurappa also raising this issue for the Lingayat community since 2014. But According to some media reports the people of Lingayat community has been rejected the proposal of minority status. They just want development of the Karnataka.

It is clear that all political parties asking for the votes the in name of caste and religion, they are not talking about the development as well as employment. Chief minister Siddaramaiah is going to complete his tenure in the state, Now this the right time when Siddaramaiah and his party will have to show what they have done during their tenure in the state of Karnataka. Both political parties BJP and Congress should stop misleading the people, they should raise the legitimate issue and they should implement their developmental scheme on the grass route.
